Only a little bit - with any model release, it's hard to gauge what types of prompts are going to showcase what it can do. I'm not sure it's going to unseat my current combo of o1 and Claude Sonnet, though - it doesn't seem like it's significantly better than either?
I've got similar combos going too. It will be nice if the model can do both the deeper stuff and the quick stuff roughly as well as a good reasoning model AND a good flash model (sorry if my terminology is off here), so I can see value if this does that like 75% of the time... but also, I want to play with this thing on voice. Fast voice models that are connected to the web are really something different for me.
Oh, I can tell you already it's not going to be a good fit for that. For starters, it's not usable with Advanced Voice Mode (only 4o and 4o-mini are). But it's also noticeably slower than the other GPTs.
